22' x 65' x 10' Boat or Two Car Cover Carport

Here's an extra-long 10' carport, big enough to drive through and park your truck or SUV WITH you boat attached, and a second rig beside. 22' wide and 65' long. This example shows a horizontal boxed-eve roof style. However, sheet metal comes in a maximum lengths of 36' feet, so for structures over 36' we HIGHLY recommend and encourage a VERTICAL roof orientation to prevent leakage at seams required to stay horizontal to 65'. Vertical roof orientation adds first, horizontal hat-channel purlins across the frame, and then the sheet metal is attached from eve to peak with a roof cap peak trim. A much preferred method of building any structure longer than 36' feet.
